Trip to the Storage Facility!

I rented out my house, downsized 10 years worth of crap, and am now living in an apartment for the next year. It would have been fun to have moved in to the trailer and hopped around this area for a while, but living with a teenage boy and one bathroom would be kind of like shooting myself in the head. The move was done for a lot of reasons, primarily for my son's benefit, but the change is good for me. I have been wanting to "downsize" anyway, and this year life threw me a curve ball with the passing of my ex-wife. Life changes so quickly. My only regrets about living in an apartment, aside from throwing away rent money, is that I can't have my trailer parked outside for the quick fix of aluminum that I need so desperately. That, and not having a garage to tinker in is probably the biggest downside. So... I had to find a spot for my trailer. I ended up locating a yard that isn't too far from my apartment in an area dominated by RV's and Mobile Homes. This way it would feel more comfortable. Oh, and there is another Airstream in the same lot. That and some very expensive motor homes. My Overlander is in good company and pretty easily accessible.

It looks right at home with all the trees, doesn't it?

Some neighbors. A beautiful new Airstream.

A land yacht, and some of those other aquatic toys.
