Exhaust Fan Repair- over the stove. (This was exhausting work )

This was caked with mud dauber nests, lizard skeletons, and I believe I found Jimmy Hoffa's body when I opened it. Amazingly enough, after disassembly and some cleaning of the contacts, as well as removal of the bodies, it fired right up! I thought for sure it was going to need a new motor, as it was getting 12v, but the motor wasn't even humming. One less thing to spend money on!

I thoroughly cleaned down the filter, put a new gasket around the perimeter, and with my aluminum paint that I am so well known for, painted the trim ring that holds the filter in place. This turned out to be one of those projects where I feared for the worst, and was happily let down by things working out.
