The Bathroom in the Overlander! Completed for the most part, January 2005

Looking pretty nasty. I couldn't live with this bathroom! An obvious BEFORE picture.

Another shot of the bathroom... before. I would rather go in the woods.

After repairing the floor and checking out all the plumbing. The floor was rotted out from the leaking water heater. I repaired it all with new plywood, and put 1/8" Luan mahogany ply over it to smooth it out.

Masked and ready for painting. What a job!!!! Nice yellow plastic counter and tub. Yuck!

A big jump from the previous pictures. I sprayed the sink and tub with a 2 part epoxy paint, put back on the aluminum borders after painting them anodized aluminum color, and you can see the walls have been painted white semi-gloss. Upper cabinets also painted an anodized aluminum color.

Here you can see the new vinyl flooring, and the ear piece from my glasses to the left! The toilet has a Hefty bag over it to protect it from when I was spraying. All the bottom panels are new white laminate with aluminum corner moldings.

I took out the old nasty tambour and built a pull down door with the aluminum edging. In the very last picture you can see where I added a lock to that door. You don't want anyone stealing your toilet paper!

Custom made track from the old curtain tracks from the front of the trailer.

I may change the hooks. Not sure yet. So many decisions, so little money!
